Edge Wagering Casino Bonus Wagering Calculator
Check if a crypto casino bonus is worth taking — rollover requirements, expected value (EV), and effective playthrough cost.
A big bonus % isn't the same as a good bonus
Every deposit bonus hides a wagering requirement — a multiple of the bonus (or deposit + bonus) you must bet before it's withdrawable, at a house edge that quietly eats into it along the way. Edge Wagering runs the actual math, with ready-made presets for Stake, Roobet, Shuffle, and BC.Game, or your own numbers for any other platform.

The last column uses the preset default: a $500 deposit at 100% game contribution, with the wagering multiple applied to deposit + bonus. These are typical examples, not live offers. To see how the multiples work, read Wagering Requirements 101: How Playthrough Multiples Work.
How to read the results
Game Contribution is separate from RTP. If a game contributes 10%, only $0.10 of every $1 wagered counts toward the qualifying wagering requirement, so the actual betting volume is the qualifying wager divided by 10%.
- Total Playthrough Required — the actual dollar amount you need to bet before the bonus can be withdrawn, based on the wagering multiplier and base you enter.
- Expected Net EV — the bonus amount minus the expected cost of clearing it at your entered RTP. Green (+EV) means the offer is worth more than it costs on average; amber (-EV) means the opposite.
- Quick Platform Presets — pre-fills the form with each platform's typical bonus terms so you can compare instantly, or switch to Custom for any other casino's terms.
- EV is an average outcome, not a guarantee — variance means any single session can land well above or below this estimate.
FAQ
What is a wagering requirement (playthrough)?
A wagering requirement, also called a playthrough or rollover, is the multiple of your bonus (or deposit plus bonus, depending on the casino's terms) that you must bet before the bonus becomes withdrawable. A 100% bonus on a $100 deposit with 35x wagering on the bonus means betting $3,500 before that bonus money can be cashed out.
How is the Expected Value (EV) calculated?
Edge Wagering estimates the cost of clearing the bonus by first adjusting the qualifying wager for game contribution, then multiplying the actual betting volume by the house edge (100% minus the game RTP you enter), and subtracting that expected loss from the bonus granted. If the result is positive, the offer is +EV on average; if negative, the wagering cost is expected to outweigh the bonus.
Why does "Wager Applies To" change the result so much?
Some casinos only require you to wager the bonus amount, while others require wagering on the deposit plus bonus combined — which roughly doubles the total betting volume needed for the same bonus. Always check the casino's actual terms before assuming which basis applies.
Which platforms have ready-made presets?
Edge Wagering includes quick presets for Stake.com, Roobet, Shuffle, and BC.Game, pre-filled with each platform's typical bonus terms. Thrill uses a rakeback-first model with no deposit-match bonus, so it's covered separately by Edge Rakeback. You can also switch to Custom and enter any casino's terms manually.
